Dec. 25th, 2007 11:48 amThe First Scene is one of the greatest things I have ever seen. There has been nipple pinching, live footage done as comic book panels, alarm clocks, being awakened by having a ball putted into one's face, silly voices, falling off scooters, acid trip colours, coordinated floppy hats, Den growling at Ryo for no apparent reason, lots of Tooru, water pistols, partial nudity, working out, panda sleeping masks, and BEER. It also was brand new, and came with a very gay postcard and the box has a kaleidoscope of great pictures I wish I could scan without tearing the thing apart. (See, machine, they put pictures of Tooru inside. He's a support musician but he was there. HINT, HINT.)
But Sleep made me all sad... until they spliced in footage of them sleeping very uncomfortably on shinkansen.
I also have the DVD in my possession. But I can't watch it until Dad finishes with the burner. So... maybe another hour... 'cause Mum's cooking and family time will be later anyway. I'm so impatient.
... Oh, and it's just started snowing! AWESOME.
I really am just so easy to please.
eta: Great live. Seriously. But there was too much improv, and while I don't necessarily mind "medleys," I HATE it when bands play half a song and launch into something else to return to it later.
ESPECIALLY WHEN THAT SONG IS STRAWBERRY SHAMPOO. They played through until the jazzy interlude and then they jumped into something else, Go S and Death, a drum solo, then back to it. Although, I can't really complain, considering I was a little disappointed when I didn't see Go S and Death on the tracklist. A pleasant surprise, just annoying.
... And yeah, Kurayamide Sunglass made me cry like a pussy, as predicted. It flowed into Call Me, which made it even worse. But I was cheered up by an unexpected addition to an already excellent song a bit later. ... And I'm not gonna say anything more than that, because everyone will know it when they see it, I'm sure.
... I'm such a sentimental sap. I'm not even going to go any further into it. Nope.
